Chante Pierce, Executive Assistant

Chante is a Cherokee/Cheyenne recording artist, filmmaker and educator. For over twenty years she has used the arts to inspire and educate Native and non-native communities on the importance of Sobriety, Spiritual autonomy, conflict resolution and unity in diversity.

In 1980 she founded Great Spirit Productions, a multi-media production company. Great Spirit Productions released four album of Chante's music; Rise Above Ancient Partners, Nightbird, and In a Good Way.
In association with University of Oklahoma, Chante performed nationally at over one hundred Native Wellness Conferences ; Wellness in Spirituality, Men in Wellness, Women in Wellness, Diabetes Prevention, Teen suicide Prevention, and Traditional Sobriety Circles.

In 1990 she joined forces with Kifaru Productions to write and co-produce the documentary "Native Relations Series" which includes ; Wiping the Tears of Seven Generations, The Red Road to Sobriety, and Sobriety Talking Circle. For best director she received; the Golden Eagle Award, a Telly, and the Silver Apple Award of the National Educational Media Network. This series is now included in Indian Health Services, Native American AA Meetings and Treatment Centers.

Chante has been working as an executive assistant for the Marshak Clinic in Malibu since its inception. Along with Angela Goncalves, she has also helped create the elegant and inviting interiors of both the Marshak Clinic and Marshak House Sober Living.

She is currently assisting at Marshak House, by helping clients integrate the Marshak Method Lifestyle, Twelve Step Meetings, and personal exploration and expression through the use of the arts.
